2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Booking details: Full name, mobile number, area, and medical condition when you submit a booking request
- OTP verification: Phone number for OTP-based verification
- Reviews: Name, phone (optional), area, condition, and review text when you submit a review
- Therapist registration: Name, phone, email, qualifications, experience, photo, and fee details when joining as a therapist
- Communications: Messages sent via WhatsApp or email to our team
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, and referral source
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 data (anonymised) if you consent
3. How We Use Your Information
- To connect you with an available physiotherapist in your area
- To call or WhatsApp you within 2 hours of booking confirmation
- To verify your phone number via OTP
- To match therapists with patient leads based on area and specialization
- To display approved reviews on our platform
- To improve our services, fix issues, and optimise the user experience
- To send appointment reminders (SMS/WhatsApp) if you opt in
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law
We do not use your data for unsolicited marketing or sell it to third parties.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Assigned therapist: Your name, phone, area, and condition are shared with the physiotherapist assigned to your booking so they can contact and treat you
- Service providers: SMS/WhatsApp providers (for OTP and notifications), hosting providers, and analytics tools operating under strict confidentiality obligations
- Legal requirement: If required by law, court order, or government authority in India
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in India. We implement the following security measures:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Password hashing (bcrypt) for all account passwords
- Restricted database access on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security reviews of our codebase
While we take all reasonable precautions, no online system is 100% secure. Please contact us immediately at info@physioseek.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.
6. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- Session cookies: Essential for booking form functionality and OTP verification. These expire when you close your browser.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): Used to understand site usage patterns. These are only set if you have Google Analytics tracking enabled and can be blocked via your browser settings.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect booking functionality.
7. Your Rights
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations)
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Grievance: Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer

8. Data Retention
- Booking leads: Retained for 2 years for service continuity and dispute resolution
- OTP logs: Deleted after 24 hours
- Reviews: Retained indefinitely unless you request deletion
- Therapist profiles: Retained while the therapist is active; deleted within 30 days of account closure on request
9. Children's Privacy
PhysioSeek does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent. Pediatric physiotherapy bookings must be made by a parent or guardian. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately.
10. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Google Maps, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of PhysioSeek after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Significant changes will be notified via a banner on the site.
